Big words from a team who beat up on a 2-14 squad.... and went 0-6 in the division last year!

Big words from an anonymous poster... Then again, you guys never come clean, that is unless you're caught on camera throwing beer cans in your stadium in JERSEY...

Checkmate!

So let me see if I can follow this, Mr. TMB (or can I just call you T?). Your premises are:

1. The Texans had a losing record last year, and are therefore a very bad team.

2. Very bad teams are easy to beat (or conversely, very bad teams usually lose).

3. The Eagles had a losing record last year, and are therefore a very bad team.

Now, maybe I'm just a little thick, but this reasoning seems a little inconsistent to me. For example, if they are both very bad teams as you suggest, then why should it be such an easy win for the Eagles?

Now please forgive me for suggesting this, but it seems as if your only intent in that post was to criticize the Eagles, regardless of (or even in spite of) your own logical assumptions. But of course, I'm sure that wasn't your intent -- that would mean that you would just want to ridicule the Eagles, even in the face of indisputable logic and fact. Now, that certainly wouldn't be like a giants fan, would it?

And JDubbs -- just a point of clarification: their stadium in NORTH Jersey. It's a completely different state from the utopia of South Jersey, you know.

Touchy, touchy. Personal attacks will make a kid feel unwelcome. What makes you think I'm a Giants fan? And to your point DP, I never said the Eagles were a bad team, merely pointing out that the rest of the teams in the division lost this weeks to teams with a winning record last year. And the Texans didn't just have a "losing" record.... they were the worst team in the NFL according to draft status, but San Fran gave them a run for their money.

That was hardly a personal attack, because if it was, he would have talked sh*t about your family, your weight problem and lack of intelligence....which I guess he did point out but didn't really come out and say it.

Either way, I get your point and agree a little. But you have to remember, the fun (if it is fun) in talking sh*t is the ability to do it when you are UP. This doesnt happen much in Philly so let it be for now.

Since TMB is dredging up the past, should we clue him in on the fact that the Cowboys have lost both of their games to the Texans? 19-10 in 2002, and 18-0 in a preseason game in 2004.

Last season's records don't mean squat, as he will come to soon realize...

Trolls beware, JDubs knows sports history!!!

That being said, yeah we need to go out and prove somethign this Sunday. Will be a good game.
