BACK TO BIDNESS

Okay, back to work...

I guess so far, we re-signed DE Juqua Thomas, picked up LB Shawn Barber, and just signed DE Darren Howard a few hours ago. And let LeCharles Bentley slip through our grasp, altho from what I read we may not have had much of a finger hold on him in the first place. (And of course, tendered RFAs Hood, Dirk Johnson, Mikell and unsurprisingly, Reno).

It's good to get Howard, but he's obviously just a start. We need a real RB this year, not a mediocre one or a washed up vet to sign for another one of our beloved one-year deals. Big Red loves his OL and DL, so shouldn't we be making big moves for one of those? He can't seriously think that Truck Driver or Darwin or Hollis can be any better than barely average, can he? Any even if we get a good OL, we better at least try to bring Runyan back -- his presence changed around the entire line when he first came here. He needs to teach that to the others, at least.
