On WIP this morning, someone mentioned being pissed off when he heard the Broncos fans chanting "Eagles Suck!" during the game. My first reaction was also being extremely pissed off too, but I also feel like joining them.
It's just like Jersey -- when people who grew up in the Garden State get together, we can all ridicule it. But when some joker from anywhere else chimes in, we let 'em have it. Only WE can criticize OUR state...
Philly fans, more than anyone, have the right to criticize the Eagles. ...And now it's become an obligation.
BTW, the opening line on next week's game has the skins favored by 1.5 to 2. In August, would we ever have thought that would happen?
