And the NFC DPOW is... Trot

"Middle linebacker Jeremiah Trotter has been named the NFC's Defensive Player of the Week for his outstanding play against the Chargers, which included 11 total tackles, 2 passes defensed, 3 quarterback hurries, a sack, a forced fumble and an interception."

He also led a defense that held the NFL's best running back to a career-low 7 yards on 17 carries.

Bitche$!!!

No need to get all up in my grill with the "bitches" and all. I've never knocked the Ax Man - he and B-Dawk are the only ones who come to play EVERY week. D played a hell o' a game yesterday. O is busted however. Trot should chop them up into tiny little Trotter balls and roll them around with his fingers...

What? Where the hell did this post come from, Dubbs? Have Paulo or I EVER dissed Trotts' skills? I think not.

I think you've been watching too much Fox News -- seems like the techniques of their fair-and-balanced right wing commentators are rubbing off on you. How they make up a preposterous position out of whole cloth (attributed to "liberals" or prefaced with the ubiquitous "some say..."), just so they can refute it with the obvious.

But about the game -- you're right. It sure was a great game. We played extremely well at all facets, and really dominated them. We were very, very disciplined too, which was important. Great decision-making by No. 5, and even better play calling. Yes, bring on the Superbowl.
