more RB rumors...
From the Denver Post:
"According to an NFL source, the Philadlephia Eagles called the Broncos to inquire about running back Ron Dayne. The Broncos showed no interest in dealing Dayne, who is expected to be a backup tailback. Eagles offensive coordinator Brad Childress was an assistant at Wisconsin when Dayne starred there.
Dayne has excelled since signing with Denver in April. The 1999 Heisman Trophy winner has played well in training camp and in the preseason.
"Ron is very happy in Denver," said his agent, Vann McElroy. "He loves it there."
