Spadaro actually just wrote that Reno Mahe "has proven to be an invaluable Eagle for two seasons -- spot duty at halfback, lining up in the slot and catching passes, returning punts and kickoffs, covering on special teams. "Does Spads have no shame? What about journalistic integrity?

Spads doesn't need to worry about that because he isn't a journalist! He's a corporate shill for the Birds organization and tireless promoter.
Reno is as valuable to the Eagles as Rudy Rudiger was to Notre Dame, absent the heart-warming story of courage in adversity.
